  • Dr. Arthur Hulshizer, Owner

    Dr. Hulshizer (a.k.a Dr.Bud) graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.  He also received a Master of Science Degree in Biology from East Stroudsburg University in 1989 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in 1985. Dr. Hulshizer is originally from the Phillipsburg, NJ area.  He has worked at several private veterinary hospitals in the area over the years including 4 years at a local emergency hospital before starting his own practice. He has over 25 years experience in private practice as a veterinarian and 4 years as an emergency veterinarian.  In his spare time, he enjoys touring New England's lighthouses and cheering for the New Orleans Saints.

  • Dr. Kelli Carpenter


    Joining the practice in September of 2013, Dr Carpenter is a 1994 graduate of Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has been a practicing small animal veterinarian for over twenty five years, having worked at three other practices before joining CVP.  In her free time she enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, reading and training her dogs for obedience competitions.  Besides her collies, Dr Carpenter also shares her home with several cats.

  • Jane Coxe, CVT

    Jane graduated from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pa as a Certified Veterinary Nurse in 1998. She has studied both large and small animals at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to graduation, Jane worked as a chemical research technician with Air Products and Chemicals for 15 years. She has also worked at or managed several local veterinary hospitals before joining Dr. Hulshizer at CVP in 2006.  In her spare time Jane enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter, rooting for the Chicago Cubs but most of all she enjoys spending as much time as possible on the sunny island of Aruba.

  • Janelle Flyte, Lead Receptionist

    Janelle joined our team in April of 2013 as a part-time receptionist. In April 2016 she became full time and has also been working as a technician assistant. She has several years of experience working in the veterinary field doing everything from a kennel worker to a veterinary assistant. She has a dog and several feline fur kids.  In her free time she enjoys going out to eat and walking her dog at the lake.

  • Joanne Deremer

    Joanne joined the CVP team in November 2016. She has over 20 years experience as a Veterinary Technician. Joanne has always known that she wanted to work in the veterinary field. In addition to teching and filling in at the front desk she is also our part-time office manager. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She has two daughters and a son who she encourages to not only do their best, but also enjoy what they are doing. Joanne loves the change in seasons but her favorite time of the year is Fall. 
  • Ashley Torres, CVT

    Ashley joined CVP in November of 2018 having had previous experience working in a grooming salon for 2 years. She graduated from the veterinary technician program at Northampton Community College and received her CVT degree. She spent most of her free time studying for school but finds time to enjoy watching her favorite Netflix shows.
  • Copper - Office Assistant

    Copper is an orange domestic shorthair who joined the CVP family in the very beginning in 2006. Copper was diagnosed with diabetes in 2019 and lived out his golden years in the comfort of Dr. Hulshizer's house. Copper passed in March 2021 and will forever be in our hearts.
  • Levi - Greeter

    Levi is is an orange domestic shorthair who joined the CVP family in 2009.  He is usually at the front desk to greet anyone who walks through the door.  He enjoys helping the girls at the front desk by laying on their charts and standing in front of the computer screen when they are trying to type.  In his free time he enjoys playing with his stuffed animals, napping and stealing your chair when you get up.
  • Haley Strunk

    Haley graduated from NCC/LCCC with a Veterinary Technician Associates degree in August of 2021. She has experience in the veterinary field since 2019. Haley also has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from NCC in 2019. She has a ferret and two beagles and a cat. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, friends and pets, shopping, traveling, and playing softball. We welcomed Haley to our CVP family in August 2021.
  • Sabrina Galloway, CVT

    Sabrina has been in the veterinary field for the past 2 years. She graduated from the NCC/LCCC Veterinary Technician Program in the fall of 2021 and received her license later that year after joining our team. She is your typical cat mom with three spoiled felines and also a dog. Her hobbies include spoiling her animals (....and Levi our hospital cat), doing puzzles and reading. Sabrina fit right in with our CVP family. 
  • Kristen Lengel

    Kristen started working with us in 2020 after spending over 15 years in retail. She is currently attending Northampton Community College to earn her Veterinary Nurse degree and licensure. At home, Kristen has three dogs, four cats and a husband. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching football, camping and spending time in the garden or by the pool. We are so happy she decided to join our team full time.
  • Victoria Rubio, CVT

    Victoria graduated from NCC with a Veterinary Technician degree in August  of 2022. She currently has two dogs and two cats. Her hobbies include watching her daughter play field hockey and being with her family. Victoria has been in the veterinary field for 4 years. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team!
